Plenty of answers to Hill’s question on YouTube.
There was more on LiveLeak.
Bring on the downvotes. I’m definitely biased as a raider fan because Tyreek was a Chief for a while. Chief or not, I strongly dislike Tyreek. In college , he beat his pregnant girlfriend and later, I believe his kid too. I hate to side with the cops but I’m sure he was driving like an asshole because he is an asshole. Also was an asshole the whole time he was being pulled over, and made it a bigger deal than it had to be. IMO he fucked around n found out. I don’t feel that badly for him. The same question can be asked if someone who beat their pregnant girlfriend in college. What if they weren’t Tyreek Hill? Jail, and not a multimillion dollar career. I just find it hard to have any sympathy for this man.

Wikipedia about this sourceWhat if he wasn’t speeding, and didn’t dismiss dangerous civil behavior as something he should be allowed to pay 0.0001% of his net worth for and move on without consequence?
We should be one of those countries where civil infraction penalties are calculated based on net worth.
This seems like the closest we’ll ever get to “justice” on the guy who only isn’t in jail right now for beating the shit out of his pregnant girlfriend “because he’s Tyreek Hill”
He got a speeding ticket…
After he gave them his license he rolled up his window, which as far as I know, is 100% legal.
Then he got drug out of his car and three dudes held him down on hot ass asphalt.
You really think that’s acceptable? You’d be ok with it if you were speeding?
I can understand the cop being concerned about having the window rolled up, those windows were extremely tinted and he wouldn’t be able to see what Hill was doing. But the cop went from 0 to 60 faster than Hill did. Hill did say he closed the window to keep people from taking pictures. But I bet it the officer asked him to roll it down just a bit Hill would have complied.
It’s not the persons job to put the polices officers concerns above their own. During a traffic stop you only are required to give the police license, registration, and proff of insurance. Until the police tell you are being detained you can ignore them. The only things Hill did wrong in this situation was speeding and forgetting it’s always shut the fuck up Friday when dealing with the police. Give the police the documents, roll up the windows and wait for your ticket. We all know if the white owner of the dolphins was in the car and did the same things Hill did the situation would have ended differently.
wrong! when the police give you a lawful order and you refuse to follow it, they are allowed to use force.
He was acting like a completely entitled ass hat…
Yelling about not knocking on the window over and over is like page 1 of the douchebag manual; Trying to start a fight over the most trivial thing.
Then when he’s told to get out of the car, he ignores them and starts calling someone. What should the cops have done at that point?
They were both assholes to some degree, but hill did everything possible to get that to happen
What should the cops have done!?!?
Was he a threat to anyone? He was probably calling his fucking lawyer.
This is what cops have done, convinced regular citizens that ‘contempt of cop’ is a crime that should be punished with violence.
The cops should have not escalated the non violent confrontation into a violent confrontation, is what they SHOULD have done.
People like you are why we’re sliding towards fascism.
He got a speeding ticket in a poorly designed street with variable speed limits that is only designed to funnel people to and from the stadium and the interstate that just so happens to cut something like a nine lane street through a low income and predominantly black neighborhood and school zones. And the only reason he wasn’t shot dead was because he was driving a very expensive car and the cop likely identified him as a semi-celebrity right away. This whole thing is like a case study in all the various forms of institutional racism. Tyreek Hill might be an unredeemable asshole, but that’s FAR from the whole story.
What if he wasn’t driving reckless down a busy street, been calm and respectful when (rightfully) being pulled over, and rolled his window down when asked to?
Lick the boot or get stomped by it huh?
The saddest part is that it’s not even an “or” statement. Police don’t even care if you’re a bootlicker. When push comes to shove, they’ll gladly stomp on the bootlickers too.
Clearly you’re not licking properly.
- Bootlickers probably
Only your first point matters. All cops can lick my chode and don’t deserve respect, and it skins like he tried his window up after already giving his ID. Tyreek is a piece of shit that should have been arrested and kicked out of the NFL after he beat his girlfriend, but these cops were in their typical power trip.
Everyone agrees to follow traffic law when they ask the state to grant them permission to drive. In every state, “stay calm and obey police orders during a traffic stop” is one of those laws. Yes, he was allowed to roll his window up after giving his ID, but the second he was asked to roll it back down and refused, he entered a whole different level of traffic violation, hence the escalation.
You don’t get to pick and choose which rules you to follow because you think you’re a hotshot celebrity who’s embarrassed of being seen getting a ticket.
but the second he was asked to roll it back down and refused, he entered a whole different level of traffic violation, hence the escalation.
Really? The cop gets to escalate that to shoving someone to the ground literally 1 second later? It seems to me the cop was itching for a fight, and wanted to make an example of someone. Hill wasn’t acting as angelic as he claimed to, but that in no way justified the cop’s behavior.
That cop is lucky he didn’t injure Tyreek in the process. I don’t think he wants to go to the barracks and be known as the guy whose temper tantrum tanked the Dolphin’s season.
Bodycam videos are one of my guilty pleasures and in almost all that I’ve seen the cops will give people a ton of chances to comply even if they’re being assholes.
But in this one the cops went from 0-100 almost instantly, and IMHO behaved really unprofessionally.
Never said that the cop acted properly or that the same thing would’ve happened even if Hill did everything right, but JFC he did nothing for himself in that traffic stop.
Cops are bastards. Getting pulled over sucks. But everyone with a brain knows that when it happens you keep your hands on the steering wheel, say “yes/no, officer,” and follow any reasonable request they make for you to get things done as smoothly and stress-free as possible, and then you take the ticket straight to an attorney and fight it in court.
You’re white dogg that’s why that works. Stop talking as if you know a goddamn thing. Now.
Learn 2 type b4 u reply 2 me. Now. Lmao
“Now” was the most effective part? Noted for future.
what if you just… never hit ‘reply’ after this brainfart?
