      I think technically it’s 10k+ years too late - hereditary holders of oppressive levels of wealth have been emiserating their fellow humans since it became possible to store oppressive levels of wealth.

      • It really began with the agricultural revolution. As soon as it became possible to store enough food for the winter people started trying to steal it.

        • Agreed on the timing, but not the cause. As soon as making a living became dependent on a fixed piece of land, ownership of that land made it possible to demand rent.

          • The agricultural revolution was what began the exploitation of fixed tracts of land. Before that people were nomadic; following the movement of prey animal herds.

      Its never too late to fight back. And if the George Floyd uprising of 2020 has shown one thing: There is still a lot of fight left in the american people.

    I hope Harris goes back to Biden’s proposed 35% tax on unrealized capital gains. I think she’s proposing 28%, which is better than nothing, but c’mon.
