  • Think of it as an iceberg & Chrome users as a boat.

Assuming no changes, this is landing in Chrome Canary now, so we’re watching the Chrome Canary boat hit the iceberg. The Chrome Beta boat is going to hit in a few weeks. Finally the Chrome Stable boat is scheduled to hit in mid November.

Now Google may choose to hold back actually enabling this flag immediately. It wouldn’t be the first delay. But likely in mid November is when all the posts will start to appear of people asking where their ad blocker went.

(Although I’m guessing it actually is delayed until after the holidays and in the new year, but that’s just wild speculation.)

Sure, but it’s also like, if you’re stepping away from your laptop for a few minutes should you lock the screen or shut it down completely.

The most secure option is to shut it down completely, but also it’s fine to just lock your screen.

If you’ve already got a VPN and it’s as easy as locking your screen to enable, go for it, use it. But if you don’t, you don’t need to go out and get one. You’ll generally be ok without one.

  • The spell specifies you turn into gray dust. Unfortunately gray dust has no listed stat block.

Luckily it is mentioned in “Tales from the Yawning Portal”, “The floor of this room is covered with a layer of fine gray dust and ash, three inches deep.”

Based on the rest of the description you are restricted to the room in which you turned to dust and the only action you may take is casting " Minor Illusion", with the added restriction of all illusions must be humanoid.

  • It’s hard to say.

For discussion threads I think it makes sense and that’s what I really want to see grow. When we only had films it was easier since you had only a few new films per week, and even less if you focused only on the blockbusters/comic book movies.

Now with TV shows you’ve got a new episode every week.

If you look at Reddit communities you had great discussion and memes week to week, and it only worked with folks hyper focused on the TV show.

Ideally I’d have separate communities for each show, but that would be spread super thin.
