Downgraded and upgraded my Redstone trap by adding lava from a nearby lava pit and removing the Pistons, while my overall area was bombarded by Creepers that kept blowing up around my buildings in spite of the ones I killed.

Cooked some chickens, some pigs, and a potato while using my Iron materials to build an Iron suit of armor, some tools and weapons and a new shield since mine broke today.

Finally, built a roof over the chickens in another building where they were exposed to the rain and weather. Aww.
