I know it’s not a solution, but the libraries where I live provide water, shelter, bathrooms, and outlets to charge a phone when they’re open. They keep longer hours and serve as cooling/heating centers during heatwaves and cold snaps, and host agents from a number of supportive services a couple of days a week. I know it’s not their job, and that there should be dedicated, fully funded solutions for these things, but some library systems are trying very hard to meet people’s needs where other government services aren’t.
wait those arent human rights??? in my business term 1 first day class they kept emphasising that the basic needs are those??? does the un do ANYTHING???
Unlike food, water, shelter, electricity and education
