It’s easier for humans to shame what they don’t understand, than invest even a few minutes of time trying to understand another’s perspective/issues.
It’s why a vast majority of humans are perfectly content with shaming, and started acting as if it’s wholly acceptable to speak like a preteen saying, “You’re weird,” to those struggling.

I’d rather hear “you’re weird”, even that’s better than the immediate jump to “you’re a bad person” that’s more common.
I wish people were more willing to say “I don’t understand”.
