All I see is a flame-type Pokémon. Kinda cute, really
One of my favorite Calvin & Hobbs. :D
Good to see that somebody in Washington still has a sense of decency.
Agreed on all points. And I’m sure the US is not unique.
Come to think of it, the national anthem is also about the flag. We have a real fetish for cloth crafting.
The flaw in the plan is that three or four large-flag cadres could conspire to support each other and overwhelm a protest.
Ultimately, flags are just symbols similar to any other logo. But I’d still prefer just to see them banned from Canvas rather see Canvas turn into an r/place arms race.
Don’t know if you’re familiar with the US Oath of Allegiance that every school kid is forced to recite at the beginning of the day, but it’s literally an oath to a flag. Completely fucked up, IMO.
Substack really will publish anything, won’t they?
Not defending hurtful remarks, but any polyglot knows that context and culture are everything and that dictionary translations are rarely entirely accurate. I’d rather know what he actually said with credible interpretation than some social media screed based on Google Translate’s version.
YTA
No, it has nothing to do with autism. Any reasonable person would ask about the rules. Autistics will try to remember and follow them, assuming it’s just another thing that they don’t understand. Neurotypicals have probably networked and blackballed you, which is why your tenants (they’re not roommates) are autistic. NTs are also likely more aware of their rights as tenants, and would probably fight back. You’re getting off easy.
You’re also a massive tool, in case that isn’t clear.
Even more reason for appropriate adult supervision
Too little, too late. The election is next week
