Just here for good conversation with good people.

Phone books were useful at one point, though less so for individuals.
Not saying you’re wrong but it reminded me of a moment when I was a kid. I was all of five years old when I got lost in rural Arizona. I was visiting my grandparents and my cousin and I went out looking for turtles after a monsoon the night before. I got separated from my older cousin and then lost. I wandered around for hours until I found the main road that led through a nearby small town. I managed to hitchhike to the local trading post where the clerk managed to find my grandparents phone number to let them know they had found me.
They were sometimes useful. Also, they were great for prank calls.
My mom taught me growing up that you can never be too professional. Going by that advice, I think A & B at the same time is the clear answer.
I hear the headless body of Spiro Agnew is on the shortlist.
“Look, Laura Loomer is not affiliated with the Trump campaign. She said something about curry in the White House that I first read about this morning actually, because I knew that you would ask me about it…” [emphasis my own]
These guys are terrible liars. Between him and Trump, they sound like they have no idea what is going on.
Don’t let your memes be dreams.
You should just become a drug dealing Onlyfans girl then. 🤷
I agree and I wish I was actually that cool. I just look at data all day and write rules. 🫠
I’m a blade runner. 😁
I don’t think it’s a bad idea but it’s largely dependent on the crawler. I can’t speak for AI based crawlers, but typical scraping targets specific elements on a page or grabbing the whole page and parsing it for what you’re looking for. In both instances, your content is already scrapped and added to the pile. Overall, I have to wonder how long “poisoning the water well” is going to work. You can take me with a grain of salt, though; I work on detecting bots for a living.
Apparently we’re running out of sand. That’s going to make the transition to glass harder. I’m not saying I don’t agree because I would definitely prefer glass than plastic.
That’s so nice to hear. Hopefully it becomes a yearly tradition to watch it.
We introduced it to our daughter this year. She was a little scared but enjoyed it nonetheless. I caught myself wishing there were more shows like it, but it’s so unique and that’s probably why I love it so much.
