Except with Matter, all of those other standards are buying into the universal standard.
Yeah, but so many posts don’t include political keywords in the titles. I have a lot filtered out, but unless we enforced tagging, a lot still comes through.
I’d be happy if Lemmy implemented tags and each community enforced them. Then clients could just filter out “politics”
Maybe they meant rubles. I think I may find that value in my couch.
I hate that that’s the case.
I’ve been trying to lose weight, so I chopped off my leg just below the knee. I’m several pounds down, and I didn’t have to stop eating even a calorie. It’s amazing.
The only issue is that now I don’t have a leg and exercise may be difficult….
Why stop there? Have every President, Senator, and Member of Congress investigated at all times. Whether we think they’re corrupt or not.
Therapy appointments
Right, and that leads to issues with men seeking help. Men don’t get needed therapy at the same rate, and our suicide rates are way higher. So I guess one can answer your original question with: women can get help without as much social stigma.
Note to anyone reading: It’s not weak to see a physical therapist, so it’s not weak to see a mental one. You see a therapist to be strong, regardless of the which part of your body (muscles or brain) you’re training. You also don’t need to be having an issue in order to get therapy. Sometimes it’s just nice to talk through everyday things, and learn ways to cope with small things.
The sad thing is that the rest of the world knew.
It’s Scientific American, not Complete Bullshit American.

Also Britain in the Canadian colonies in 1812.
When you short a stock, you borrow a stock, then sell it, then you buy it back at a (ideally) lower price. Then, you have to give back the stock plus interest. This person can’t sell the stock because they have to give it back. It wasn’t theirs to begin with. They were just borrowing it.
You don’t choose from where you get your oil. There’s one oil market. You can choose to ban imports of oil from certain countries (like Russia).
The better move is just to migrate further away from oil usage altogether.
Breaking Bad was great from beginning to end. This is a list of finales that over-performed the rest of the episodes.
This is the way I do it. I still hear about everything, I just don’t need to seek it out. And I still feel very informed enough to vote.
Last show I watched with a crashing plane, there were a lot of unanswered questions, characters died, people came up with conspiracy theories, and it ended with the audience really upset. Sounds accurate.
Let the record show that I gave the 34th upvote to this comment…
Sorry, obscure Parks and Rec reference.
