Is this what betrayal feels like?

Just tried to search it, and I can’t find one - I was all ready to crosspost!

I found it under a post where people were talking about living in NYC.

This is mind blowing

Turns out the city doesn’t have flamboyantly dressed supervillains at all. Batman is just running around Gotham, sleep deprived as hell, grabbing confused commuters by the shoulders and accusing them of being The Penguin.

Haha, what can I say? I just want to help things grow.

Duct tape?! That"s a wild home remedy.

It’s a rescue. It has had a hard life.

If I’m out of the house past 10, something has already gone terribly wrong.

People keep their defenses up more when they have to do “facework”. If you’re not having to make eye contact, it’s easier to speak freely.

Even though it’s rare these days, it’s the reason behind that whole Freudian idea of therapy where the patient lies on the couch and isn’t looking at the clinician.

They talk about a few causes, but this is the gist of it for anyone who doesn’t want to click:

It’s really disappointing how much of our space is privatized.

Yeah, it’s all relative. It’s just incredible how your perspective can change in your lifetime.
