Why do you need Nintendo to loose? You wouldn’t rather Nintendo to tight?
I think the problem would be similar. The rich and powerful would be the only ones to profit off of inventions and innovations.
We still have indie game devs today. Imagine if any company could just copy an indie game and scale it up/polish a bit and get all the sales.
It doesn’t appeal to the masses.
Most people don’t “get” poetry. That’s why you don’t see many people sitting around reading books of poetry.
Many people would probably also choose a short story written by AI over one written by a professional author.
Heck, I’m sure comments written by AI generally get more upvotes than comments written by humans.
How many people would even turn up to work if it made no material difference to their life?
Maybe not the same jobs, but most people would. Human beings are wired to want to feel productive.
I don’t think we should be abolishing money or anything, and different jobs should pay different wages. Still, I think all people should have their basic needs met.
Yes, because knives and vehicles were invented and designed to kill things…/s lol
Being conceived by shitty people is more than enough to have a life arguably ruined permanently before it even began.
So much can happen to ruin a person’s life at any stage, even pre-conception.
Definitely. It’s not even about defending Nintendo.
I hate people who try to profit off of privacy when piracy is available for free.
It reminds me of my university days when people would be selling PDFs of course textbooks…just email a copy of the file!
I loved A Blurred Line. If the guy who made it (Lysander?) appears after 20-whatever years and finally completes the story, I’d be elated. I’d even pay for it! Lol
“I don’t know enough to have an informed opinion about this” is an admirable stance to take.
When it’s a cop-out for not wanting to be politically informed, it’s a crappy place to be. It can sound a lot like “I don’t know and I don’t care”.
20ish years ago…
ELI5 How come paid cable TV channels are now running commercials? Is that not bad for business because most if not all people got it to avoid commercials?
Star Control is there!
Of course, that one still has an incredible amount of support. Mostly fan support, but the original devs are finally making an official sequel to SC2!
There’s a difference between a claim and conjecture
adequately explained.
The ignorance doesn’t explain where all the money comes from. So malice it is! Lol
Based on what?
But there is something wrong with emailing Nintendo to say “No matter what you do, I’m going to help more people pirate your games!”
…why? Pirating games and streaming games don’t correlate to skill in testing games.
That’s a good point. They probably gave Eggman the spotlight because he’s the leader of the Dark side. But Shadow’s stages were just more fun, lol
I like both games, but they’ve got very different feels. I did miss the Adventure Stages from SA1, but SA2 has some great stages. I think the early Knuckles/Rouge stages are alright, but the later ones just get too big if you don’t know where to look.
If you liked E102’s stages in SA1, there’s no reason to dislike Tails/Eggman in SA2 imo! And like you said, Sonic/Shadow stages are still great.
Keep in mind that SA1 has the Big stages as a requirement for completion…haha
You can define a year range when searching the games
