Oh no, I accidentally put paint in a super soaker and it squirted upwards on the camera! Silly me, I’m such a klutz!

ITS IN THE LIGHT

“The stakes are pretty high, but-- Oh my god! How did I not see this? Am I blind?! This kit might have morphine!
…
Yes, here it is, morphine sulfate!”
–Freeman’s mind, episode 57
That’s odd, I’m surprised Rossman didn’t upload it to that app store. Well, in the meantime you can get it directly from https://grayjay.app/. Should also be the first result in google, if you want to search yourself instead of trusting a randomly provided link.
Depends on how lax the IT department is when it comes to random executables. I was able to move the firefox installer to the appdata root, and run a non-admin install to my user profile.
No, we’re not. Please send help.
Intriguing. The first and last time I saw anything RT kernel related was nearly a decade ago, when I stumbled on it as an alternate kernel in the old synaptic package manager.
To me, the term “Web3 games” sounds like they’re trying to make a knockoff of Cookie Clicker with NFTs.
A familiar feeling of dread overtakes you. Even in its absence, you still remember that poor raccoon.
Dᴏ ɴᴏᴛ ʟᴇᴛ ᴛʜᴇ Rᴇᴘᴜʙʟɪᴄᴀɴs ʜᴇᴀʀ ʏᴏᴜ sᴀʏ ᴛʜᴀᴛ.
They’ll start claiming the bible forbids workers unions or something.
Nice, but someone needs to teach that kid that you only need the watch?v=
part. The subsequent &si=
and &pp=
parts are useless tracking bits.
…most followed user,
Abusing site admin powers to force accounts to follow you really shouldn’t count.
If you also factor in further accelerating userbase and revenue loss, us spending that money actually turns into a net loss for xitter.
I’ll gladly spend that money out of spite, just to see his website lose users to Mastodon even faster.
Would be interesting, but Lemmy and Mastodon would both need some work to tick some security and compliance checkboxes.
On the plus side, we could get proper 2FA support (i.e. Yubikeys or TOTP tokens) as a result. I’d love to get some more use out of that old yubikey.
I kinda hope that Trump’s campaign keeps using it, not because they’ll invariably get sued, but because Celine could then pull the most supremely delicious piece of irony ever…
And play the fail recorder version as he’s being escorted out for transport to prison.
Honestly, after all the shit YouTube is pulling with their ad systems, I wouldn’t mind those old tiny banner strip ads that used to occasionally pop up at the bottom of a video. Compared to the current standard of 3 minutes of unskippable ads interrupting every other video, those little banners are downright unobtrusive.
Looks like you can leave that field blank, and it’ll still work.
Facebook spends billions on a fake walled garden “metaverse”, and has nothing to show for it.
Meanwhile, Frooxius and his team developed Resonite (and its predecessor Neos), and both of them are far closer to being actual metaverse implementations, simply due to them being able to speak HTTP/Websocket/OSC to external user applications.
You technically can. The issue is that when the average Joe sees five instances of the community they’re looking for, and the highest users/month stat is on .ml, they’ll post there for the most traction. And the problem just self-reinforces from there.
Also potentially a war crime. Aren’t civilians and civilian assets supposed to be off-limits?
