The autistic trait that bites me in the ass most often is the assumption that if someone is arguing as though they do not know the truth, it is because they don’t.
My ass has been chewed to pieces from all the biting from this and OP, and I’m not into it. Is there maybe a safe word I missed…?
Then since they don’t seem to understand the facts I’m telling them, I try to explain it in a different way and they still don’t understand. We both end up frustrated, me because they don’t understand, and they because they think I have to prove I’m better than them and just loves to disprove them.
Most people assume that what they think is “the truth”, including flat earthers, anti vaxxers etc. So how is this special either in that you think people should accept your truth or that they actually do not do that?
Certainty is a feeling that doesn’t necessarily imply truth or correctness.
Same, some people are so convinced that their lies make them feel comfortable so they call anyone who doesn’t believe them brainwashed.
This is more about the praxeology of ideology that autism I think
Everyone thinks they’re right. Not being able to convince people of your position (or not being able to clearly convey it) isn’t unique to neurodivergence.
